Synonymous

Colour, to me, is synonymous with light and shadow. It is, in essence, why I love painting so much. Colour is like another language waiting to be discovered, sentences woven with gentle nuances of varying tonalities. Each hue acts as a word, expressing its particular task: to create warmth, evoke sadness, or draw the eye to a focal point, and every tone is subtly tinted by its complementary. And because we all perceive colour slightly differently, what a treasure trove of abundance, so many variations, so many options! In the end, the right combination brings balance, harmony, joy and peace to all who witness it…
