Study in Motion connects to the tradition of Wunderkammer (Wonder Rooms) through its depiction of the horse as both a natural wonder and a symbol of myth and legend. Throughout history, cabinets of curiosity contained preserved creatures, rare specimens, and artifacts that blurred the line between reality and fantasy. The horse, a creature of power and grace, has long been revered in folklore, often depicted as a spectral figure in maritime myths—be it the sea horse of Poseidon or the ghostly steeds said to roam misty shores.
